User manual
Learn DOK Genius by building one
Seventeen chapters, in order. Each one has you do something in the product and explains every field you meet along the way. By the end you will have set up a working insurer from an empty account, and know every screen in the product.
-
Getting started
What DOK Genius is made of, the three words you need before anything else makes sense, and what you are going to build across this manual.
-
Your first Area
Create an Area in three steps, understand all five fields — including the one that quietly decides how your Area is classified — then build the six an insurer needs.
-
Your first Process
The long chapter, and the one that pays for itself. Eleven wizard steps, every field explained, and a worked motor-claim template you can copy.
-
Working a Dossier
Create a dossier, fill the expected documents and follow it through decision, external operation and final evidence. The dossier has its own state; each document has one too.
-
The Dashboard
The screen your team opens first. What each panel counts, why one being empty is usually a blank field on a process, and how the four stage groups read.
-
Documents expiring
The screen that answers a question a file store cannot — was this certificate valid on the day we decided? Renew a validity, replace a lapsed file, and know why the three windows are not added up.
-
Document intake
The inbox for files that turn up before anybody has decided what they are — by email, scanner, API or a colleague who does not know where it goes.
-
Quality Check
The queue where a person confirms AI results when the process requires human sign-off or when an attachment raises an exception. Approve, return or reject without leaving decisions opaque.
-
Approvals
Set a chain, collect decisions in the right order, and understand the one question every approval system has to answer — what was the decision made against?
-
Asking Genius
The assistant that answers from your documents, with citations — and why almost everything that makes its answers correct was configured in earlier chapters.
-
Chat
Direct conversations with people in your organisation, inside the product. What it is for, what it is deliberately not, and the one thing it does not tell you.
-
Finding things
The dashboard, the dossier list and its filters, and how to find a case by the value of a field.
-
Teams, units and who sees what
Build your organisation chart, grant access to a branch instead of listing its departments, and understand the four layers that decide what any person can open.
-
People, roles and groups
Invite users and guests, give roles in a scope and for a time, let groups carry them, and know why each person has the access they have — and that a User and an Employee are not the same thing.
-
Audit, notifications and support
The trail that answers what happened and who did it, the inbox that tells you it happened, and how to ask for help without losing your reference.
-
Your account, the theme and your sessions
The personal settings — profile, password, brand colours and the devices you are signed in on. Short, and one of them is a security control most people never open.
-
Agents — Claude, ChatGPT and others
Let an AI agent work in DOK Genius for you — find a dossier, read its documents, open a draft and add files — with your permissions and never more. How your administrator allows it, how you connect, and how you stop it.
-
Agents — technical reference
For whoever builds or configures an agent: the MCP server's address, how it authorises, the scopes, every tool with its inputs and answer, the refusal codes and the limits.
-
Going live
The checklist before real work goes in, the mistakes worth catching first, and the three things that are hard to change afterwards.
